What is Join Me?

Join Me is a feature in JDRF’s Gala360 software that provides the opportunity for peer to peer fundraising online.  Specifically, Chapters work with interested people to set up their own personal fundraising pages to raise money for the Fund A Cure portion of the Gala.

How Does it Work?

Each JDRF Chapter has a Gala website where you may sign up to fundraise on behalf of JDRF and direct funds to the Fund A Cure. Once you sign up, you will receive a link to a Join Me login page. This is where you can create your own fundraising page with your personal story and reason for wanting to accelerate type 1 diabetes research. You can share your page by sending emails to your contacts and asking them to donate to Fund A Cure, especially if they are not likely to attend the gala.  You can share a “widget” along with a website address (url) to your fundraising page via Facebook or over 130 other social networking sites!

Although the set -up is easy, the Chapter staff is more than willing to help you set up your fundraising page or provide an easy to follow document with instructions.
